EKOSEP®, the trademark of AJV-Engineering. Our Gravity Thickener is a table type thickener for sludge thickening. Sludge, approx. 0,5 - 1,5 % DS, will feeded to the continuously moving belt. Free water drains through the filtering belt to the drainage tray and thickened sludge continuous on the belt to the disharge end of the thockener. The doctor blade tace care about sludge scraping off the belt.

Sludge to be handle is previously conditioned by adding diluted polymer to sludge and then mixed to abtain the best separation between liquid and solids. This operation is performed in the flocculator. Sludge flows from the flocculaor to the distributing tank of the thickener. Further sludge flows over the edge to the belt as an even mat, The ploughs, located in the gravity on the table, turns sludge right and left forming furrows for water separation.

The standard system includes, pneumatic belt tensioning system (hydraulic is option), pneumatic belt steering system (hydraulic is option), continnuously operating wash water system (automatic nozzle as an option), and interrnal wiring to the trminal box.

Frame, frame rollers and trays are made of stainless steel. The belt is monofilament polyester fabric with stainless steel clipper seam.
